Rosario is Venevisions latest production for Univision written by Alex Hodad (Eva Luna) and produced by Peter Tinoco. Guy Ecker and Itahisa Machado are the main leads whilst Lorena Rojas takes the role of the main villain. It will soon premier on Univision
Synopsis:
Rosario is a dedicated law student with a passion for helping immigrants.
Alejandro is a prominent immigration attorney whose law firm is devoted to doing just that. When they meet at a legal conference, sparks fly; and when Rosario begins working for him soon after, their mutual attraction and shared interests turn into true love.
However, Rosario and Alejandro are unaware that he is the same man that her mother, Magdalena, almost married 21 years ago. What happened back then changed Magdalena’s life forever, driving her to lie to her daughter all this time. Upon discovering that Magdalena was pregnant from another man —who happened to be Alejandro’s worst enemy and the love of Magdalena’s life—Alejandro broke off the engagement, convinced that he could never bring up that man’s child as his own. When Rosario was born, the unwed Magdalena decided to conceal who her real father was and made up a story about being abandoned by him.
Now, so many years later, fate brings Rosario and Alejandro together in a romance that seems meant to be. But discovering how the past connects them will have devastating consequences, as what each thinks is the truth will cruelly come between them. And not only will they have to face the lies and secrets that were kept for so long, but also the wicked schemes carried out by the jealous Priscilla, Alejandro’s former girlfriend, who is not willing to give him up and will go to any lengths to keep him away from Rosario.
Just as Rosario’s and Alejandro’s troubles stem from the past, the key to their happiness is also hidden there—and their only hope is to find it before it’s too late...
