At the presentation of her new telenovela, La Otra Cara Del Alma, Gabriela Spanic announced that she will be releasing a new CD.
This CD will contain songs with traditional/regional music and she also revealed that her band's name will be La Usurpadora.
The CD will also contain the song she has produced as a suggestion for the opening theme of her new telenovela.
Spanic admitted on camera that she CANT sing but its something she likes doing and as she said she also likes writing so most of the songs will have her lyrics.
Her first CD was released in 2005 and contained songs that where heard in her telenovela Prisionera.
Also she sang the two theme song of her telenovela Tierra De Pasiones.
