Press Release: JUAN SOLER SIGNS EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT WITH TELEMUNDO
Telemundo announced today that international telenovela star Juan Soler signed an exclusive contract with the Spanish-language network to star in upcoming original productions. The award-winning actor who has been captivating international television audiences for over two decades, has starred in nearly 20 telenovelas and several television series with worldwide success.

Telemundo: Pasion Prohibida premiers tonight!
Pasión Prohibida tells the life story of Bianca Santillana (Monica Spear), a young and beautiful woman who lives with a deep resentment towards her mother, Flavia Santillana (Rebecca Jones), whom she blames for the death of her father. To take revenge, Bianca marries Ariel Piamonte (Roberto Vander), a millionaire twice her age, in order to keep her mother from seducing him and using him to pay off the debts that her husband left after he died. However, Bianca never imagined that destiny would deal her a bad hand by making her fall in love with Bruno (Jencarlos Canela), her husband’s nephew, with whom she starts living a forbidden love.

La Patrona - Introduction Credits
La Patrona is the first telenovela that Telemundo premiered for 2013 and has received good critics from viewers whilst its rating has increased since the first episode.
On Thursday we finally got to see the introduction credits. Aracely Arambula take the first credits whilst Jorge Luis Pila and Christian Bach follow. Also the intro theme song named La Patrona soy yo is interpreted by Aracely Amambula.

El Senor De Los Cielos - Teaser 2
After “La Reina del Sur” (The Queen
of the South), comes “El Señor de los Cielos,” the most ambitious Telemundo
production to date, that tells the story of Aurelio Casillas (Rafael Amaya), one of
the most prominent Mexican drug lords from the 1990s, whose ambition was to
become one of the richest and most powerful men in Mexico and its surroundings. Fernanda Castillo, Ximena Herrera and Luis Roberto Guzman are also part of the cast. Special Guest appearance by Andres Parra as Pablo Escobar.

Press Release: TELEMUNDO KICKS OFF PRODUCTION OF “EL SEÑOR DE LOS CIELOS” IN MEXICO.
Telemundo announced today the kick-off of production for “El Señor de los Cielos” (The Lord of the Skies) in Mexico, with renowned actor Rafael Amaya (La Reina del Sur, Alguien te Mira) joined by a stellar cast that includes Ximena Herrera, Fernanda Castillo, and Luis Roberto Guzmán as Marco Mejía. For this original production inspired by a true story, Telemundo has recreated the look and feel of the 1990s, with props and fashions from the era. The drama is being taped on location on ranches in Estado de México, airports near Mexico City and haciendas in Morelos. Cutting-edge special effects are being used to recreate shootouts, explosions and airplane stunts, and the actors have undergone physical training for the production’s action and adventure scenes.

Dulce Amargo premiers tonight in Mexico! + Promos
Dulce Amargo (Bittersweet) takes us into the world of five couples and their everyday struggles, one of them being Mariana and Nicolas, who are about to celebrate their seven-year anniversary. Mariana, overwhelmed with the worry that she may develop a hereditary mental illness, decides to leave her husband and son to avoid them the pain of seeing her suffer. But soon after, she will be captivated unwittingly by a new passion, and behind this romance will hide the madness of a psychopath. Mariana and Nicolas’ friends will try to help them, but first they must resolve their own conflicts, including infidelity, jealousy, ambition, and addiction.

Telemundo and Caracol will begin filming El Senor de los Cielos in 2013. This new production tells the story of Damian Torres, a man of humble beginnings who dreamed of having it all. Through relentless will and fearless determination, Damian transforms himself from a poor peasant into one of the world’s richest men and a powerful drug trafficker, wanted by the DEA. Damian embodies the entire spectrum of what the human soul is capable of, from the virtuous to the unthinkable, all fueled by his immeasurable desire for power and wealth. Damian’s life turns into a quest for survival when his numerous enemies start hunting him down and the DEA closes in. He realizes that his only way out is to start a new life as literally a new man, so he decides to undergo facial reconstruction. Damian will discover that on the dangerous path to riches he chose to take, there is no turning back.

Telemundo will adapt Dama y Obrero
In an interview, the president of Telemundo Internation, Marcos Santana, confirmed that they currently working in the adaption of Dama y Obrero, a TVN Chile production that aired in 2012 making it one of the biggest hits of the year.
This original story was written by Jose Ignacio Valenzuela and Rosario Valenzuela and will be adapted by its original writer, Jose Ignacio Valenzuela, who joined Telemundo late last year after his big success with La Casa De A Lado. The telenovela will air late this year.

La Patrona premiers Tonight!
La Patrona tells the story of Gabriela Suarez (Aracely Arámbula), the only woman working in a mine in a beautiful Mexican town called San Pedro del Oro. Due to unexpected circumstances in life, Gabriela meets Alejandro Beltrán (Jorge Luis Pila), the oldest son of Antonia Guerra (Christian Bach), better known as “La Patrona.” Gabriela will live a romance with Alejandro that several people will oppose to, including Antonia, who will become her number one enemy fighting both for her son’s love and to become “La Patrona.”

Telemundo.... Style! (Gangnam Style Parody)
Gangnam Style is one of the most successful songs of the last years and Telemundo has made his own.... version called Telemundo Style. Its a parody of the famous song portraying telenovela actors, reporters, crew and stuff members of Telemundo around USA dancing to the steps of the Gangnam Style. The main star of the clip is the famous entertainment anchor Jorge Bernal.

Pablo Illanes joins Telemundo
Pablo Illanes, the famous writter of Donde Esta Elisa and Alguien Te Mira, leaves TVN in Chile and joins Telemundo.
The offer came when Telemundo decided to adapt Alguien Te Mira and Pablo visited USA to help the writing team adapt his story. His contract with TVN in Chile was still running and could not join Telemundo.
