Novela stars Monica Spear, Jencarlos Canela and leading actress Rebecca Jones kicked off Telemundo’s new original production “Pasión Prohibida”. For this telenovela entirely produced in South Florida, Telemundo Studios counts on a star-studded cast that includes the well-known international actors Roberto Vander and Mercedes Molto. Also joining the cast are Sabrina Seara, Carmen Aub, Pepe Gamez, Henry Zakka, Rubén Morales, Maricela González, Jorge Consejo, Beatriz Monroy, Liannet Borrego,Priscila Perales, Martha Pabón, Luis Angel Lafaurie, Gisella Aboumrad and Sharlene Taule.
For “Pasión Prohibida,” Telemundo Studios has built innovative 360 degree sets for a larger visual scope of spaces never before seen in the network’s telenovelas. Luxurious modern, European and Oriental style mansions located in the region’s most exclusive areas will be used during the production of this story.
“Pasión Prohibida,” adapted by renowned screenwriter Juan Camilo Ferrand (Pablo Escobar, El Patrón del Mal), is a telenovela that tells the story of Bianca Santillana (Monica Spear), a beautiful woman that becomes a victim of her own vengeance. Everything unfolds when she discovers a dark secret of her mother Flavia (Rebecca Jones). As if by destiny, Bianca appears in the life of Bruno Hurtado (Jencarlos Canela), an attractive playboy with whom she will face seemingly insurmountable challenges.
