Contracorriente becomes... Vivir A Destiempo

Azteca Novelas is still having problems with the title of there new telenovela written by Eric Von. The first title was A Contratiempo but due to legal problems it got changed to Contracorriente but they could not use that title for the same reason. According to there official Twitter account the new title will be Vivir a Destiempo. Hopefully Azteca will not face problems for this title as well as according to Vonn the first promos should be on air very soon.

El Senor De Los Cielos - Teaser 3

Production has began for El Senor De Los Cielos and Telemundo has aired some teaser promos to promote this new project. Ximena Herrera, Fernanda Castillo, and Luis Roberto Guzman will join Rafael Amaya in this new super production.

Confirmed: Gloria Trevi is the protagonist of Libre Para Amarte.

Gloria Trevi was officially presented by Emilio Larrosa producer of Libre Para Amarte, the the protagonist of his new telenovela.
Larrosa commented that its an honour for Televisa and himself to work with such an important figure from the industry and the world of discography.
From her part Trevi commented that she is nervous as she has never done a telenovela and she is ready to learn from her co stars and directors.

Through her Twitter account the actress Aura Cristina Geithner informed her fans that she will not participate in the new telenovela, Cotracorriente an original story by Eric Vonn, as she has other projects planned.

Pasión Prohibida tells the life story of Bianca Santillana (Monica Spear), a young and beautiful woman who lives with a deep resentment towards her mother, Flavia Santillana (Rebecca Jones), whom she blames for the death of her father. RTI Productions and Televisa co-produce there second telelenovela, La Bandida, remake of Nina Amada Mia. It stars Ana Lucia Dominguez and Marco Mendez.
Las Bandidas tell the story of Fabiola, Corina and Amparo, Olegario Montoya´s daughters, owner of “Las Bandidas” ranch. The plot focuses on the three sister´s love stories and an old rivalry between Olegario Montoya´s family and Rodrigo Irazabal, who believes that Olegario stole real estate from his brother, Tulio Irazabal, and caused his death.

Canal RCN will premier tonight its first telenovela for 2013 under the title Alla Te Espero staring Monica Gomez, Kaller Wortham, Sebastian Martinez, Valentina Redon and Alejandra Borrero. This new telenovela is filmed in Colombia and USA and it tells the story of a family who looses there lands and there life changes.  La Patrona is the first telenovela that Telemundo premiered for 2013 and has received good critics from viewers whilst its rating has increased since the first episode.
On Thursday we finally got to see the introduction credits. Aracely Arambula take the first credits whilst Jorge Luis Pila and Christian Bach follow. Also the intro theme song named La Patrona soy yo is interpreted by Aracely Amambula.

A Contratiempo becomes... Contracorriente!

A Contratiempo changes name and becomes Contracorriente as Eric Vonn commented on his Twitter account. The reason for this change is that the first title was registered by another company.
Through his Twitter account, Vonn confirmed some names that will join Edith Gonzalez and Humberto Zurita in this new production produced by Fides Velasco and Jacky Castro.

In an interview to Javier Poza, Paola Nunez confirmed that Mauricio Islas and herself will be the main couple of a new telenovela of Tv Azteca produced by Maricarmen Marcos. It has also been rumoured that Margarita Gralia will also be part of the cast.

Telemundo announced today the kick-off of production for “El Señor de los Cielos” (The Lord of the Skies) in Mexico, with renowned actor Rafael Amaya (La Reina del Sur, Alguien te Mira) joined by a stellar cast that includes Ximena Herrera, Fernanda Castillo, and Luis Roberto Guzmán as Marco Mejía. For this original production inspired by a true story, Telemundo has recreated the look and feel of the 1990s, with props and fashions from the era. The drama is being taped on location on ranches in Estado de México, airports near Mexico City and haciendas in Morelos. Cutting-edge special effects are being used to recreate shootouts, explosions and airplane stunts, and the actors have undergone physical training for the production’s action and adventure scenes.

Andrea Noli joins the cast of Vonn's new telenovela!

Andrea Noli returns to the telenovela under the production of Vides Velasco with an original story of Eric Vonn. This will be her second time working with Edith Gonzalez. Also Eric Vonn commented on his Twitter account that his story is left with no title since A Contratiempo has been registered by another company.

Los Secretos De Lucia Trailer

Los Secretos De Lucia is a Venevision production staring Iran Castillo and Juan Pablo Raba. Its a action filled novela/series that tells the story of Lucia a woman fleeing without knowing why, because of  mysterious event that left her amnesiac. Throughout this journey he meets Miguel, a young and handsome mechanic who impressed by the beauty of Lucia, decides to help her regardless of the consequences.

Humberto Zurita villain of A Contratiempo.

Humberto Zutira confirmed in an interview his return to Tv Azteca in a new telenovela produced by Fides Velasco.This new telenovela is A Contratiempo written by Eric Vonn and will star along side Edith Gonzalez. He will be the main villain.
"I signed today(Friday) with Azteca, we will make a telenovela this year and I will be sharing screen with Edith Gonzalez, Juan Manuel Bernal and Martha Verduzco. They are currently casting for the character who will make the love triangle with me and Edith" commented the actor.

Dulce Amargo premiers tonight in Mexico! + Promos

Sergio Basanez and Barbara De Regil ready for a new telenovela.

In an interview on Venga La Alegria Barbara de Regil commented that she will soon return to the telenovela together with Sergio Basanez. She did not give any other details other then that her role will not be a villain.
It is rumoured that both actors will be in the Spanish version of Brothers and Sisters that will produce Elisa Salinas.

Fernando De Solar will have a guest role in La Otra Cara Del Alma.

Fernando De Solar, anchor of La Academia 10, will have a special participation in La Otra Cara Del Alma.
"I was invited to make a guest role in La Otra Cara Del Alma. I will portray a publicist who will comes to cause problems in one of the story's couples" commented Solar.
He also added " Filming will begin in a couple of weeks, about 3 or 4, but I am very happy because I began my career in novelas".

Aura Cristina Geithner joins the cast of A Contratiempo.

Aura Cristina Geithner joins the cast of Tv Aztecas new production, A Contratiempo, written by Eric Vonn that will premier in February.
This is not the first time that Geithner works in a telenovela written by Eric Vonn as she has participated in Quererte Asi and Cielo Rojo. Also this will be the second time that she will be working with Edith Gonzalez.

Telemundo will adapt Dama y Obrero

In an interview, the president of Telemundo Internation, Marcos Santana, confirmed that they currently working in the adaption of Dama y Obrero, a TVN Chile production that aired in 2012 making it one of the biggest hits of the year.
This original story was written by Jose Ignacio Valenzuela and Rosario Valenzuela and will be adapted by its original writer, Jose Ignacio Valenzuela, who joined Telemundo late last year after his big success with La Casa De A Lado. The telenovela will air late this year.

Eric Vonn is currently busy writing his new telenovela for Tv Azteca with the working title, A Contratiempo. As Vonn commented on his Twitter account, production will start very soon and his new telenovela will be produced by Fides Valasco and Jacky Castro.
He also commented the most likely Edith Gonzalez will be his protagonist and Humberto Zurita the main villain. At this moment they are searching for the male lead.

Telemundo.... Style! (Gangnam Style Parody)

Gangnam Style is one of the most successful songs of the last years and Telemundo has made his own.... version called Telemundo Style. Pablo Illanes joins Telemundo

Pablo Illanes, the famous writter of Donde Esta Elisa and Alguien Te Mira, leaves TVN in Chile and joins Telemundo.
The offer came when Telemundo decided to adapt Alguien Te Mira and Pablo visited USA to help the writing team adapt his story. His contract with TVN in Chile was still running and could not join Telemundo.

Rosy Ocampo prepares 2 new telenovelas.

Rosy Ocampo is currently working on 2 new telenovelas. One will premier in 2013 and the second one in 2014.

After her latest successful telenovela, Por Ella Soy Eva, Ocampo will begin filming her new telenovela in February or March and will premier in May replacing Que Bonito Amor.

She is currently selecting the actors that will act in Oriana, an original story by Maria Zarattini.

The possible protagonist of Oriana are David Zepeda and Mayrin Villanueva.

Filming begins for Corazon Indomable.

On January 3ed was the first day of filming for Corazon Indomable, an original story of Ines Rodena, adapted by Carlos Romero and produced by Nathalie Lartilleux.
The first shoot was with  Maria Elena Velasco, the famous India Maria, that makes her debut in telenovela. Alongside her was Yuliana Peniche and Marina Marin.

Elisa Salinas wants Silvia Navarro and Barbara Mori back in TvAzteca.

Elisa Salinas, General Director of Azteca Novela spoke to Notimex about her future plans for Azteca Novelas. In her plans are to bring back actors that Tv Azteca lost when she left the company. Two of these actresses are Silvia Navarro and Barbara Mori.
